He was also straight forward with me when what I needed, such as tables and chairs, might be more economically obtained from another source. Joe and staff arrived on time and with the equipment needed to prepare fresh, refrigerated appetizers, roasted pig and hot side dishes. The food won raves from our guests – the dishes were all delicious and the pork was truly a standout. Joe also assisted one guest with special dietary needs. Service and clean up were friendly and efficient.
Pricing was quite reasonable, particularly compared to what you will often find in the city and suburbs. We can highly recommend Inboden’s for its quality and service.

We have had several pig roasts with Joe at our Fraternity House in Dekalb….and we even fed the NIU Football after their Spring Football Scrimmage. I can’t begin to tell you how pleased we were. From the initial consultation and planning for the event…to the pig roast coming off the BBQ pit, Joe took care of us. The attention to details…the set up….checking in every few hours to see how things were going…and to tips of serving the food was exemplary. We will be back again and again. Thanks Joe.
My family and I had Inbodens roast a pig for us at a Family and friends cookout for the first time two years ago. They did such a great job we used them again last year and will use them again this year as well. Not only did they drive our location out in the country, just north of Genoa, they were set up and cooking ahead of schedule. In addition to supplying the pig and the roaster they also delivered over 100 ears of corn to us both years as well.
The chefs were very professional, nicely dressed, carved and served pig, and most surprising of all even entertained some of the guests who had walked over to watch the pig cook. In addition, one less thing to clean up after a party this size is great, when done, they loaded the roaster and all the pig scraps back on the truck and were on their way. I would highly recommend this service to anyone looking to have an outstanding pig roast.
In September of 2011 we were planning a motorcycle run from our business. We have been using Inbodens meat for our menu and have loved all the products we have gotten from them. We decided for the motorcycle run we wanted to roast a pig…never doing it before only seeing it done I was a little leary. After talking with the guys at Imbodens we decided to take on this undertaking. They gave us everything we needed to use and gave us great instructions on how to do the entire project. The hog came mounted and ready for roasting we rubbed it down with the salt they gave us and let it cook. The actual roaster was state of the art…very very easy to use and super easy to clean….clean up was a half hour with easy soap and water.
The pig came out perfect, the cook time they gave us for cooking was accurate and the pig itself taste fantastic. This by far was one of the easiest event I have ever cooked for and using the pig roaster from Imbodens made it that much easier. I will for sure be doing it again. A 10+
